Logging Module
The Logging module runs on the PDA allowing for easy and intuitive data capture. Using disciplined business and validation rules, data integrity is enforced at the point of capture. This results in improved accuracy and decreased data management time. A single application of Nomad can host numerous configurations for specific tasks such as grade control, geotechnical drilling, surface sampling, trenching, exploration drilling, rehabilitation and environmental monitoring.

Administration Module
The local Nomad database schema is set up in the administrator module from the master database using an easy to follow configuration wizard. Data capture configurations are built following the wizard’s directions, selecting tables and fields required for specific tasks. The results is that a single Nomad application and PDA can be used for gathering data across a variety of mining or exploration activities, all with referential integrity to synchronisation with the master database. Specific user requirements are set up using the profile wizard: such as import/export directories, case sensitivity, hiding columns and utilising various logging grid defaults.
